Close-up of a Xanthorrhoea australis stalk.
Xanthorrhoea Preisii about 4 or 5 years old.
Me planting Xanthorrhoea glauca in my front yard.
The same Xanthorrhoea glauca 13 years later (2016).
This photo was sent to me by Daniela & Alessandro in Valenzano (Bari), Italy.
Two photographs sent to me by Jason and Tanja Corponi.
They are of their 20 acre (80,000 sq. meters) property in Gippsland,
Victoria, Australia. They built a house there and the land has
hundreds of Xanthorrhoea Australis Major on it.
Photo from Peter Ball in Perth (Forrestfield), Western Australia.
He has a cluster of four, the tallest of which is 22 feet high!
Peter tells me the local name is black Gins where Gin is the aboriginal
word for woman, and the official name is Xanthorrhoea preisii. |
